Part VIII, Fund Raising Activities

4a. Currently, fund raising activities consist of accepting donations on the corporation's web site and personal solicitation at educational events. E-mail solicitation is possible using the e-mail list of persons who have expressed an interest in the projects conducted by the corporation.

Other fund raising activities, such as mail solicitation, foundation grant solicitation, receiving donations from the web sites of other organizations, or government grant solicitation is possible within the next few years.

4b. Any contracts with any individual or organization to raise funds will be negotiated at arms length, following procedures to ensure that the corporation does not pay more than fair market value for fund raising services, and in accordance with the corporation's conflict of interest policy where appropriate.

4d. To date, fund raising has been limited to Denver, Jefferson, Boulder and Broomfield counties in Colorado. All fund raising has been by the corporation through its employees or volunteers and not by or for other organizations.
